A world where everyone is guaranteed access to basic health and hygiene.

4 billion people

The number of people worldwide living without access to adequate sanitation facilities

Half of the global population lacks access to safely managed sanitation. Health facilities, schools, and communities without toilets often resort to open defecation, increasing exposure to infection and disease. Women and children, in particular, face heightened risks of sexual violence and health complications.

Today, more than 500 million women lack access to menstrual hygiene products and accurate information — leaving many with no choice but to drop out of school or give up work. In environments without proper health and hygiene, education and self-reliance cannot truly begin.

Safe toilets and proper hygiene education are among the most powerful defenses against disease — and essential protections for women's dignity. Team&Team works to lay the foundation for healthy lives in hygiene-underserved communities, empowering people to stand on their own.

How does Team&Team work?

We Build Safe Sanitation Environments.

Human rights are realized when safe sanitation facilities are available in villages, schools, and health centers. These environments protect women and children from violence, infection, and preventable risks.

We Design Sustainable Sanitation Solutions.

To ensure healthy lives continue without external support, we train communities in sanitation facility construction and promote everyday hygiene practices that last.

We Drive Change in Awareness.

Beyond improving infrastructure, we strengthen the capacity of health workers and educate communities to foster accurate understanding of menstruation and hygiene.

We Ensure No One Is Left Behind.

We create inclusive sanitation environments that are accessible to all, regardless of age, gender, or disability.

A Healthy Life Is Closer Than We Think.

Team&Team carefully selects villages, schools, and health centers in need through thorough baseline assessments. We provide sanitation facilities and hygiene supplies tailored to local environmental conditions, alongside foundational hygiene education. Through regular monitoring, we support communities in turning hygiene awareness into everyday practice.

Sanitation Construction and Rehabilitation

We construct sanitation facilities suited to local climate, geography, and user needs, and rehabilitate aging sanitation facilities to ensure clean and safe environments. Handwashing stations are installed alongside sanitation facilities, and basic hygiene education is provided to promote proper use.

Menstrual Hygiene Support

We distribute reusable and disposable menstrual pads, soap, and hygiene supplies, and when needed, provide training on how to make reusable pads. Comprehensive education covers menstrual health, infection prevention, and proper hygiene management. We also run campaigns targeting students and community members to drive meaningful change in behavior and attitudes.

Infectious Disease Prevention and Control

We develop hygiene and infection prevention manuals for health facilities and train medical staff in their application. By fostering collaboration among healthcare workers, local governments, and community members centered around health centers, we strengthen coordinated public health efforts. We also conduct radio-based outreach and community campaigns to build local capacity for infection prevention and improve overall sanitation conditions.

Community Participation at the Core

Community members actively participate in the construction process, gaining an understanding of facility structures and maintenance. We use locally available materials to enhance sustainability and train residents to independently manage and repair facilities. By connecting villages, schools, and health centers, we foster a prevention-focused culture of health that reaches children and families alike.

A world where everyone is guaranteed access to basic health and hygiene.
